Yellowstone Season 5 Release Date: The Paramount Network has announced the date on which ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5 will return following the midseason finale
With over 12 million viewers tuning in to the season 5 premiere of Yellowstone in November 2022, the show broke records
There will still be some time left for fans to wait for the conclusion of Yellowstone season 5 to air.
During the midseason finale on Sunday, Paramount Network revealed that the hit series will return with new episodes in the summer of 2023, following the midseason finale on Sunday.
As a way to hold fans over until then, the network shared a short teaser trailer, which features Kevin Costner playing the patriarch of the Dutton family, John Dutton, in character.
‘Yellowstone’, which also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, and Cole Hauser, had its premiere in June 2018. Since its premiere, it has received a wide range of critical acclaim and has received nominations for Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Golden Globes.
Yellowstone Season 5 Release Date
In November 2022, the season 5 premiere of the show broke rating records with more than 12 million viewers watching the premiere, which marked the show’s biggest premiere to date.
There have been several prequel series created as a result of the show’s success, including 1883 starring real-life couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, which premiered in December 2021, as well as 1923 starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, which premiered in December 2022.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in March, Costner, 67, hinted at the future of the show by saying, “I think it’s safe to say that the foot’s on the gas. We’re not slowing down.”.
As Hauser, 47, who plays Rip in Yellowstone season 5, explained to PEOPLE at the premiere of the fifth season of Yellowstone in New York City, “it’s not the last season.”.
During an interview with PEOPLE, Costner explained that one of the factors that have made the show so successful is that it is intentional with its world-building and character development.

It has always been my belief that a good Western is not always just about rushing towards the gunfight as soon as it starts,” he told reporters. According to him, “If you can create language and situations, and then you end up in a gunfight, then that would be an amazing movie or TV show.
However, if you do it so fast that you don’t understand the people, or the situation is not complicated, then it would be a problem.”
