Even though this year’s E3 has been canceled, video game developers such as Sony, Microsoft, and Ubisoft will still hold their own digital showcases throughout the summer in order to promote their video games. There were a lot of new Xbox Game Pass titles announced during Microsoft’s Xbox Showcase on Sunday, 11 June, which included a number of titles that are both first-party and third-party titles that are part of the Xbox Game Pass.
During the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, which lasted for nearly two hours, a wide range of Xbox titles were shown, including new revelations and improvements to existing Xbox titles, as well as a close look at Starfield, one of the most anticipated Xbox titles.

12) A new Xbox console colour
Phil Spencer, the CEO of Xbox, has unveiled a new 1TB Xbox Series S in black, which will go on sale on 1 September. This is Xbox’s answer to complaints that the Series S did not have enough storage with this new model, according to Spencer. There will be a charge of $349 for this product.
11) Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
There has been an official announcement of the sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It is amusing to note that this unveil trailer contains several amusing jokes in which items or people cover Ichiban’s penis, reminiscent of an Austin Powers film released in 2005. ‘Early 2024’ will be the date on which the next Yakuza/Like A Dragon game for the PC and Xbox will be released.
10) Payday 3
Here is a brand new look at Payday 3 gameplay. You will find all of the usual bank heist hijinks in this new video. Throughout the event, there was a pursuit of a vehicle, rooftop gunfights, and a plethora of gear and contraptions to assist participants in securing their payday. On September 21, the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S as part of the Game Pass service.
9) Metaphor: ReFantazio
A new RPG called Metaphor Re Fantazio has been developed by the same team that created Persona 3, 4, and 5. It appears as though the game keeps a lot of the aesthetics of Persona, but it is set in an entirely different world. In the year 2024, it is expected to be released.
8) Starfield
In addition to the Xbox Games Showcase, Bethesda’s Todd Howard and his team provided insights and anecdotes about the upcoming sci-fi RPG Starfield during the Starfield Direct, which concluded after the Xbox Games Showcase. There was a lot of information shared about the game’s character customization, and the team was able to deliver greater detail in their models than ever before because of this.
On September 6th, Starfield will be available as part of the Game Pass for Xbox Series X and S as well as PC.
7) Forza Motorsport
The racing sim Forza Motorsport was first teased back in 2020, again earlier this year, and now the racing sim has a release date, which was revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on the Xbox One. The Xbox One and PC versions of Forza Motorsport will be released on October 10th, respectively.

6) Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
As part of Microsoft’s renewed flight sim brand, the next installment will be released next year, and it will feature a multitude of airborne-related occupations including firefighting, search and rescue, shipping cargo, and crop dusting, as well as flight-related simulators. It was also announced that Microsoft would release a new version of Microsoft Flight Simulator dedicated to the Dune universe in November.
5) Avowed
Avowed, Obsidian’s upcoming major RPG title, has been shown for the first time at the showcase for the highly anticipated game. 4) Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
It has been revealed that CD Projekt Red (CDPR) will be releasing Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty as the next installment of the sci-fi smash hit game, which was released in 2011. As part of the showcase, the developers have released a new trailer for the game. It has been revealed that the new expansion will bring players to Dogtown, a new location in Night City, where players will be able to rescue the president of the New United States according to CDPR.

3) Star Wars Outlaws
As part of today’s Xbox showcase, a trailer for Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars game was unveiled. There was also a cute puppy in her arms, which almost took my attention away from the release date of 2024. It is expected that Ubisoft will be able to reveal more information about this game during its Summer Game Fest event later this year.
2) South of midnight
A new title has been announced by Compulsion Games, the developer of We Happy Few and Contrast, and it is called South of Midnight. As seen in the CG teaser, a woman is hunting for a big ol’ monster, interrupting a guitar player who appears to be undead. In spite of the fact that the game appears to be interesting, no release date has been announced yet.
1) Fable
It was announced at the beginning of the show that Playground Games would be releasing a new open-world Action RPG, Fable, and the game will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the renowned and beloved brand. In the video, Richard Ayoade plays the role of the narrator, continuing the legacy of the hit YouTube series The IT Crowd.
It is not yet known when the game will be released, but Xbox has confirmed that it will be available as part of Game Pass on the first day of the service.
