Sam Levinson (HBO’s Euphoria), Abel Tesfaye, and Reza Fahim co-created and co-star in The Idol, an entertainment series that is co-created by Tesfaye, Depp, and Levinson.
This year’s Cannes Film Festival will be the premiere of the HBO series, which was produced in partnership with A24.
It seems that Jocelyn’s (Lily-Rose Depp) last tour was derailed by a nervous breakdown, but she is determined to reclaim her rightful status as the greatest and sexiest pop star in America after the breakdown. During the course of the film, Tedros (Abel „The Weeknd“ Tesfaye), a nightclub impresario with a sordid past, reignites her passion for nightclubs.
The Idol Release Date Update
The Idol, HBO’s original drama series, was announced today that it will debut on Sunday, June 4 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time/Pacific Time. Streaming of the series will be available on Max in addition to airing on HBO.
What will her romantic awakening bring to her? Is it going to lead her to glorious new heights or will it lead her to the darkest, deepest depths of her soul?
There are several actors appearing in the series, including Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, Lily-Rose Depp, and Troye Sivan.
