We have now reached the halfway point in the first season of The Big Door Prize, and the residents of Deerfield appear to be pretty miserable, having been transformed by the Morpho machine to the point where they are utterly different people.
Amid Jacob’s father’s traumatic midlife crisis, Jacob sees him hunting down the cheat, as his father continues his hunt for the cheat. There is also the issue of dealing with the issues of the other citizens as well. Trina (Djouliet Amara) ponders her own life choices as Dusty (Chris O’Dowd) and Cass (Gabrielle Dennis) try to alter and upgrade their careers while Trina (Chris O’Dowd) ponders her own!
Despite Beau’s own subplot being rather weak in comparison to the others, this is another quirky episode that is centered around characters. This is what happened in The Big Door Prize Season 1, Episode 6 of The Big Door Prize:
As a result of a flashback, Beau quits his job, revealing that on his Morpho card, he has Sheriff written on it. The feeling he has is that he is beneath his current job and that he can work towards something more meaningful in his life at this time.
As Beau prepares to open his saloon in his garage, a western-themed bar, he puts the finishing touches on the bar. In order to make his bar top, he destroyed the dining room table, so this explains why he destroyed the table. It is obvious that Jacob is concerned about the erratic behavior of his father, but he is not sure what to do about it.
Beau has become obsessed with finding the culprit, and he asks Jacob who might be the cheat. In his suggestion, Jacob suggests that the other basketball players should also be considered.
In addition to her own line of Morpho-inspired merchandise, Cass also offers personalized sweatshirts made especially for her. Dusty, on the other hand, has taken over the job of a basketball coach.
The first practice of Dusty’s basketball team goes horribly wrong. It does not take long for Giorgio and Beau to show up and get involved without Dusty’s permission. There is something obnoxious and loud about Giorgio. During the practice, Beau uses the opportunity to scope out the cheater. In my opinion, Tucker is the most likely suspect in this case. For a bonding session, Beau invites the whole team back to his pad so they can spend some time together.
After receiving Nat’s help, Cass is able to persuade Mr. Johnson to sell her products in his store, and she is able to do so.
Trina establishes a bond with Savannah, a girl who is considering asking Jacob out on a date. Afterward, they go back to Nat’s (her mother’s) house, where Cass and Nat are chatting about the future. In order for students to reach their full potential, Cass mentions organizing a fundraiser in support of this.

As the team is working in the garage, they compete against one another in the punching machine. Beau is angered by Tucker’s strength due to the fact that he is the strongest. It doesn’t take long for the students to escape from the crazy adults and chat with Jacob. As a result of the adults’ behavior and Miss Kolton’s behavior, they are concerned about how they are acting.
There is a bit of aggression between Beau and Tucker, and Giorgio gets Dusty drunk as a result of Beau’s aggression.
Trina is driven home by Cass. A message from Giorgio informs him that Dusty is drunk. In order to pick him up, they go to his home. There is a conversation between Trina and Jacob, and they break up after a while. In order to raise money for Cass’ fundraiser, Giorgio suggests using the restaurant.
Tucker is pinned against the wall by Beau, who demands that he confess, but he realizes that Jacob is the real cheater, not Tucker. The father confronts his son and tells him what he has done. Trina says that Jacob’s relationship with her is over and that they are no longer together. In order to comfort Jacob, Beau holds him close to his chest.
A wig is revealed to be worn by Giorgio, revealing that he is wearing one.

It has been announced that Episode 7 will be released on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at midnight Pacific Time. This week’s episode, titled “Giorgio”, will run for 33 minutes and be titled the final episode of the series.
