Pokemon Unite Dragapult Release Date: Fans of Pokemon Unite have been looking forward to the upcoming new character Dragapult, but a typo on the tweet announcing the release date caused some unwanted confusion among fans.

Upcoming New Character
Pokemon Unite’s official Twitter account has come forward to clarify some misinformation about the release date of its upcoming new character, Dragapult, that has been circulated on the internet. While the initial tweet announcing the new Pokemon’s release date was incorrect, the mistake was quickly corrected and shouldn’t have a significant impact on players at all.
There is one small issue with this release, which is that players will have to wait one more day than they were expecting for the new playable Pokemon Dragapult to be released, but all things considered, that’s not a big deal. I would like to point out that this is not a delay on the incoming character, just that the first tweet had the wrong date on it.
New Ranged Attacker
There is a new Ranged Attacker making its way into Pokemon Unite, Dragapult. It provides players with yet another option when it comes to dealing heavy damage in a game with a lot of attackers. In terms of how Dragapult has been received in the community, there have been some mixed reviews, with some players being very enthusiastic and others lamenting the lack of Defender-type Pokemon in the game.

In the latest tweet, it seems that Dragapult will actually join the Pokemon Unite roster on December 29th, not December 28th, just a week after Pokemon Unite’s latest update was released. As you can see from the tweet, Pokemon Unite apologizes for the mistake, and for the most part, it appears that the players are also gracious toward Pokemon Unite as well.
Despite the fact that it only took one day to catch this mistake, a corrected version is much better than an alternative in which players find themselves confused when December 28th rolls around and Dragapult is nowhere to be found. There are, of course, certain players who are poking fun at the mistake, claiming that it has ruined their entire Wednesday the 28th because of the news that was released.

As perhaps not surprisingly, the vast majority of the comments on both this tweet and the initial release date reveal tweet appears to be less focused on Dragapult and more focused on what Pokemon the commenter would like to see added to the game in the future.
Total Characters Details
Pokemon Unite’s roster is bound to leave out some of the fans’ favorite characters in a franchise with 1,008 iconic characters. In spite of personal preferences, it does come as a small surprise that Dragapult was included in the game as an Attacker-type Pokemon, considering that he will be the 20th Attacker type in the game.
You can easily see the imbalance in the game when compared to the seven available Defenders and Supporters, or the six Speedsters available in the game.
Regardless of whether players are excited about Dragapult or not, its inclusion in Pokemon Unite is certainly going to change things up in the competitive world of the game. There is no doubt that this Pokemon will be one of the most difficult Attackers to deal with, especially since players are still learning how to counter it, as a result of its high damage and unique movement capabilities.
