Dragonball Super Season 2 Release Date Update:- During the time that Dragonball Super was on the air, it had a great run. In the end, there were about 131 episodes that culminated with the epic tale of the Universal Survival Saga, a series of 131 episodes in length.
We are almost 4 years later and we are witnessing Dragonball Super Season 2 becoming a reality. But what is the story that will be told by the anime?
Can you tell me how many episodes there will be in the second season?
It is interesting to note that following the story of Moro, the wizard is Granolah the Survivor Arc. I would like to point out that both Moro’s and Granolah’s arcs are part of the same storyline. Hopefully, Dragonball Super Anime will catch up to the current manga by 50-60 episodes if everything goes according to plan.
How will Dragonball Super Season 2 be different from the first season?
The reason we mention this is precisely due to what Dragonball Super Season 2 will be bringing to the table. A certain prisoner’s story will be told in this book. The story of Moro, a wizard who is imprisoned by the Galactic Patrol, is told through a book named Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. In the event that Moro’s seal is broken, he goes on a rampage.
As a matter of fact, the whole saga is based upon the events of the Broly Saga, which were depicted in Dragonball Super: Broly, which marked the first-ever canon film to be made in the Dragonball universe.
The betrayal of GT fans by Dragonball Super
I would like to start by mentioning that Dragonball Super Anime is based on a manga series of the same name. While it is written by Akira Toriyama, it is Toyotarou made the illustrations for the book.
As a follow-up to Dragonball Z, Dragonball Super takes a much different turn from where the series left off. In the past few seasons, many fans have complained about how the seriousness of the show has been toned down. The anime series Dragonball GT, which was a non-canon anime original, was also a source of nostalgia for some people.
- I would like to discuss what Dragonball Super introduced to the storyline
- Even though everyone knew that GT was not canon, the last shred of nostalgia that people held for the possibility that it would be canon was lost with the arrival of Dragonball Super.
- The leveling-up process introduced in Dragonball Super differs from the one used in GT, in which Goku, Pan, and Trunks were taken on an intergalactic adventure.
- As a follow-up to that, Super Saiyan God has been the major theme of the series so far, and it will continue to be so. As a result of the introduction of characters such as Beerus, Whis, and Xeno Sama. This game culminated in an all-out universal tournament at the end of Dragonball Super.

The way Akira Toriyama replays old elements in Dragonball Super Season 2, and how it will make a difference to the story
There is one thing you must have noticed, and that is how Dragonball Super has recreated old elements from previous games. As far as creating content is concerned, it seems as if Akira Toriyama has run out of ideas. There are far too many story arcs in Dragonball Super that are very similar to those in Dragonball Z.
There are a lot of elements of the Black Goku arc that is purely based on the Cell saga, even to the point where Trunks has to come back to this timeline for help (again). I would like to point out that the Universal Tournament is just on a larger scale than Earth’s Martial Arts Tournament.
Dragonball Super Season 2 Release Date Update
In terms of the release date of Dragonball Super Season 2, there doesn’t seem to be a clear consensus as to when it will be available. However, there is a brooding spirit in the anime community that the release of this anime is just around the corner.
I guess we can call it the fan’s intuition (collective intuition at that) or something like that. It will be our pleasure to keep you posted, as long as you promise to regularly check out our Anime section in order to stay updated.
