Plot of Dedh Bigha Zameen
Pratik Gandhi’s character decides to sell one of his ancestral properties in order to cover the cost of marrying off his sister in order to cover the expenses. The situation soon becomes problematic, however, and he soon finds out that his property is not even in his possession anymore, and someone else has occupied it illegally in order to evict him from it.
Insisting on getting his backland by any means necessary, he then decides to fight alone against the entire administration and get his sister married without any hassle whatsoever. In the remaining stories of the film, the viewer will find out what happens after that & how he is able to regain possession of his property.
