Deadpool 3 Release Date: ‘Deadpool 3’ will finally be releasing in cinemas this July, and the teaser trailer for the eagerly-anticipated installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just around the corner.
The first trailer for the new movie, officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine, was released during the Super Bowl back in February, and we have been waiting for it ever since. According to Ryan Reynolds, the new trailer will arrive on April 22nd, the day before the film’s release date.
Those of you who haven’t kept up with the development of Deadpool 3 have no doubt heard that Hugh Jackman will be returning to the role of Wolverine in the movie. It is still unclear how exactly he will be returning, and we don’t know when he will be back.

Deadpool 3 Release Date: It has been announced that Deadpool 3 will now arrive in cinemas on July 26, which is a slight delay from its original release date of May 3, 2024.
Unlike in the US, UK audiences will be able to watch Deadpool 3 one day earlier as it will be released in UK cinemas on July 25th.
The movie was initially scheduled to be released in cinemas on September 6, 2024, but was pushed back to November 8, 2024, and suddenly moved forward six months ahead again, before being pushed back to its current release date six months later.
As of January 24, 2024, filming on the film has come to an end and we hope that date won’t change in the near future. As a mark of the occasion, Ryan Reynolds shared a crotch shot, as is his custom, while Hugh Jackman made a video of himself getting a haircut as part of the celebrations.
It is believed that the movie was initially going to be filmed from May to July 2023, before it was shut down by the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes.
The production was then resumed in late November, when set leaks hit the production, but you won’t see any of those leaks here since we want to keep the story as a secret as we wish to keep it as it is.

There was no doubt that Ryan Reynolds was going to be returning as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, and he has some major company when it comes to the film.
In the MCU, Hugh Jackman will make his debut as Wolverine as it was mentioned above. Despite the fact that we don’t know how it will work canonically, we are assuming that there will be some multiversal shenanigans afoot.
The Marvel superhero, Jackman, explained in December of 2022: “It’s all because of this device they have in the Marvel universe that allows us to move between timelines now. We can do it because it is science. It will save me a lot of trouble and I won’t have to mess with the Logan timeline, which was important to me, and I believe it was also important to the fans, too.”
Although Reynolds has technically made his MCU debut as a Thor: Ragnarok character, he has also been mentioned in the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force ride, as well as being in an advert with Korg.
It has also been confirmed that Emma Corrin will appear in the movie as the lead villain in the movie, which will be quite an exciting addition to the overall Marvel universe.
There is no word yet on who they will be playing, but we do know that they needed a “Marvel debrief” before they started filming. There is currently a rumor that they will play the X-Men supervillain Cassandra Nova, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
What is the plot of Deadpool 3?
While we now have the first trailer for Deadpool 3, we still don’t have a complete picture of what the movie will be about, despite the trailer.
We were mislead when co-writer Rhett Reese teased that the third Deadpool movie would directly address that Deadpool is now in a totally different universe from what he was in before rather than retconning the fact that he is now in the MCU as part of its story in June 2022.
There appeared to be a confirmation of this in the first trailer, as Deadpool was taken to the TVA and given the chance to be a hero among heroes. This would indicate that the first two movies still exist, rather than the new movie being a complete reboot of the character from the first two movies.

In the UK, Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in cinemas on July 25 and in the US, it will be released on July 26. There are two Deadpool films available to watch on Disney+ right now: Deadpool and Deadpool 2.
