After spending three weeks on the screens, Nani’s pan-Indian action entertainer Dasara has performed well at the box office, drawing praise from critics and doing well at the ticket window during its three-week run. Several praises were given to Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith, and Santhosh Narayanan for their music and cinematography.
Srikanth Odela was praised for his maturity in handling complex human emotions in his very first film, which has been hailed by many. In spite of the fact that the Telugu version of Dasara performed exceptionally well in terms of trade, it did not exactly roar at the box office in the other languages as well. The reason behind this is that not every second pan-Indian film can replicate the impact of a Pushpa or a KGF across the country, and that is completely understandable.

Dasara OTT Release Date Update
Currently, the movie is gearing up for its OTT debut on Netflix, the industry’s leading streaming service, and it’s coming out sooner than expected. The movie Dasara will be available on the platform next Thursday, 27th April in multiple languages, exactly four weeks after it was released in theaters. It was a thrilling action entertainer set in the Godavari khani region where Poorna, Samuthirakani, Shine Tom Chacko, Jhansi, and other actors played important roles.
This film was adapted from a true story set in his maternal grandmother’s hometown Veerlapally, discussing the repercussions of the alcohol prohibition imposed by NTR during his third and final tenure as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1994.
Through dialogues and the use of music, this first-time filmmaker used the opportunity quite well to illustrate a number of traditions and customs specific to the region by elaborating on the customs and traditions of the region.

In spite of this, there were some who didn’t like Dasara very much, claiming that it reminded them quite a lot of Sukumar’s Rangasthalam (which was, coincidentally, the film that Srikanth Odela had assisted Sukumar on), and that its rustic aesthetic was influenced by Pushpa. Although Dasara seems to follow a familiar plot, there’s no doubt that it’s one of the best technical films of all time, and it’s expected to receive it is due worldwide with its OTT premiere scheduled for next weekend.
