It looks like Malayalam star Mammootty will be making his digital debut this week with his latest crime thriller film Christopher. A theatrical release of the film was scheduled for February 9, 2023, and the film received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics upon its release.
Throughout Christopher, the plot revolves around the adventures of a maverick cop who, when the system fails, is forced to work outside the confines of the law. The story weaves across the past and present while revealing the motives that drive his actions.

Christopher is reportedly going to premiere this week on OTT giant Amazon Prime Video, according to reports. As of March 9, 2023, a Malayalam version of the film will be available for streaming.
In addition to Mammootty, Christopher stars Vinay Rai, R. Sarathkumar, Sneha, Amala Paul, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Aditi Ravi, Shine Tom Chacko, Deepak Parambol and Siddique in pivotal roles. As far as the film is concerned, it has been directed by B. Unnikrishnan.
According to Mammootty, discussing the film’s digital release, he said, “Working on Christopher has been such an enriching experience – and I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to share the screen with such a talented cast. Unnikrishnan B’s vision and conviction towards the story are evident in every frame.”
