Chris Rock’s upcoming Netflix special Release Date Announcement
There is also a confirmation in the teaser that the stand-up special will air just over two months from now. During the 30-second preview, Rock appears on stage and stares right at the camera, breaking the fourth wall as he takes the stage. Rock walks into a green room where an off-screen figure knocks on his door and announces that the audience is “ready for you.”
Rock walks through the venue as the song “The Best is Back” by Bun B is playing in the background as he makes his way to the stage. Netflix‘s title for the special, as well as the date of the special’s premiere, are displayed at the end of the clip, all the while reiterating that the special is Netflix’s “first global live event”.
