On June 28, 2024, the trailer for the upcoming film was unveiled. The film, which is billed as a comedy caper, revolves around the pregnancy of Triptii Dimri, a single mother. What makes this unique? As a result of an extremely rare scientific occurrence, she is pregnant with two of Vicky and Ammy’s characters at the same time. Taking us on a roller-coaster ride of funny sequences, hilarious dialogues, and promising performances, the trailer takes us on a roller coaster ride of laughs.

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk are among the cast members of Bad Newz. Neha Dhupia also plays a pivotal role in the film with Ananya Panday making a brief appearance in a cameo role.
The film is directed by Anand Tiwari, and it is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film marks the second collaboration between Vicky and Anand, who previously worked together on the latter’s directorial debut, ‘Love per Square Foot’ (2018), which was produced by Vicky. There was also a role for Anand’s wife, Angira Dhar, in the film.
