It has recently been revealed by the streamer that a trailer for the next installment of the TV series, where Emily (played by Lily Collins) finds herself at a crossroads in both her personal and professional life, has been released. “I made a romantic decision that bit me in the ass,” she admits to her best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) as she recounts the experience.
As the main character of the story has been living in Paris for a whole year now, she continues to work at a French marketing firm as she makes life-changing decisions for the future of her life in the city.

In the film, she is also seen getting intimate with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), a London-born friend she makes from class, who is also a Parisian.
The first season of Emily in Paris was released in 2020, followed by a second season renewal that same year. In the past few months, viewers have begun developing a love-hate relationship with the show as Parisians have criticized Netflix for showing a clichéd representation of their city in the show.
