Dead Space Remake Release Date:- Preload time for Dead Space Remake – when will I be able to download the game on PC, Xbox Series X|S, or PlayStation 5?
After the release of the Dead Space Remake later this week, fans of horror are chomping at the bit to get back into the space suit of Issac Clarke with the release of the Dead Space Remake.
The survival horror classic has undergone a great deal of engineering work to bring it bang up to date – and there are bound to be a few surprises in store for fans who are familiar with the original from 2008.
To make us whole early, could you please get ahead of the curve and start downloading the game as soon as possible? As far as the Dead Space Remake preload is concerned, here’s what we know so far.
Preload time for the Dead Space Remake on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC
The time it will take you to preload EA’s Dead Space Remake will depend on which format you’re using. As of January 20, 2023, those on Xbox Series X|S can already download it – since it has already been available since 8 am PT, which is 4 am UK time at the time of writing, on January 20, 2023.
The PlayStation 5 users will have to wait a little longer than the PlayStation 4 users. Preloading for the PlayStation 5 will begin on January 25, 2023, at 8 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (4 a.m. UK Standard Time).
It is the same story on the PC as well, where you will be able to preload the game through Steam, the EA App, and the Epic Game Store from January 25, 2023, at 8 am PT (4 am UK time).

Can you tell me how much (Dead) space you will need to make room for Isaac to return? According to the Steam listing for the game, you’ll need at least 50GB of free space on your hard drive to install the game on your PC. As part of the requirements, it is also recommended that you install the game on a SATA drive to make things run smoothly.
Taking a look at the Xbox Store page for the game, it gives an approximation of 32GB of free space that you’ll need on your hard drive if you’re intending to play the game on the Xbox Series X|S.
As of this writing, there hasn’t been any confirmation regarding the size of the PlayStation 5 version of the game, either on the PlayStation Store page or from EA/Motive – although we would be surprised if it would be much bigger than the Xbox version. As soon as it is available on the PlayStation Store, we will keep you posted.
