Synopsis of Pavi Caretaker
“Pavi Caretaker” follows the story of Pavi, a caretaker who works as an unmarried individual in a residential apartment located in Kerala. It is unexpectedly during the course of his routine life that he forms a bond with someone who brings him joy despite the challenges in his life. Pavi is a man who spends most of his time within the building, where he works tirelessly to improve his financial situation. Despite the fact that he is nosy and short-tempered, he finds solace in his pet dog and the house that he rents. After the owner decides to rent out a portion of the building to a woman, Pavi, initially resentful, begins writing notes to the woman in order to gain her trust. After a misunderstanding leads to Pavi’s sudden departure, he is left heartbroken and his work is negatively affected as a result. In the film, it is explored whether or not they will ever be able to reunite.
